Sunday Morning Quarterbacks is 4-on-4, two hand touch football on cool autumn mornings in Warwick, RI. It's a 30+ league that is "all the glory without spilling your guts."
SMQ is a pure passing game.
It's a quarterback, 3 receivers and a lot of
strategy. There are no running plays, no special teams plays, no laterals
in the backfield, a dead ball after fumbles, etc. Contact rules are
more similar to the NBA than to the NFL. The field is more than 1/3
smaller than a real football field. The first team to 6 touchdowns wins.
In September of 2007, we begin our 15th season.
Contact the Commish if you are interesting in joining the league.
